A global renewable energy developer with a 22-year track record and 13+ GW pipeline is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical oversight for battery energy storage systems as projects transition into construction phase. You will review contractor documents, ensure grid connection compliance, and challenge designs to deliver cost-efficient, functional projects.

You will evaluate grid applications, manage interfaces with distribution system operators, oversee electrical balance of plant designs, ensure compliance with German standards (DIN, VDE 4110, VDE 4105, 4120), and provide technical expertise to enable the team to challenge contractor work effectively across HV and MV systems.

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering degree with 3+ years experience
• HV and MV systems knowledge (EHV exposure a plus)
• Strong technical review and problem-solving skills
• Agile, entrepreneurial mindset with team-oriented approach
• German fluency essential
